Solo Storytelling 3: Adam Wade, Harmon Leon, Glen Heroy

  • The Pit Loft 154 West 29th Street New York, NY, 10001 United States (map)

StoryFest is tickled to bring you Solo Storytelling 3 – featuring three of NY’s top storytellers doing long solo sets.

Adam Wade (HBO’s Girls, Inside Amy Schumer)

Glen Heroy (Macy’s Santa for the past 12 years)

Harmon Leon (This American Life, VICE)

Adam Wade: For the past thirteen years, Adam has been a fixture in both the New York City storytelling and comedy scenes. He is the winner of 20 SLAMS at The Moth (18 StorySLAM victories and 2 GrandSLAM Championships) with 20 different winning stories. He has toured across North America with The Moth Main Stage and has appeared on The Moth Radio Hour Episode 1305, Episode 1410 and The Moth Podcast.
Adam was a speaker at TEDx PennQuarter in Washington, DC where he spoke about REINVENTING Storytelling [video].

Glen Heroy: I, Santa: Glen Heroy has portrayed Santa Claus in and around NYC for 35 years including 12 years at Macy's Santaland in Herald Square, was the Santa for Hess in their annual Hess Truck commercial, and in a video with RuPauls Drag Race winner Bob the Dragqueen.
Glen has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, seen in Soap Opera Digest, and mentioned in David Sedaris' Santaland Diaries.

Harmon Leon: Big Fat Racist Show: VICE contributor Harmon Leon has made a career infiltrating extremist hate groups in America.
In this Trump-infested era, join him on a multimedia journey undercover with the heinous Westboro Baptist Church, racist assault weapon gatherings in Kentucky, and white supremacists who try to recruit him at Applebee’s.

Let’s laugh at hate!

“Weird, wildly original, and incomprehensible, Harmon brings to light the dark side of American culture” ***** Edinburgh List
